Archival & Social Studies is a digital, free, and peer-reviewed journal on archival science. It focuses on: A creative use of theory, practice, concepts, uses, paradigms, models, etc., drawn from other disciplines, in order to solve current issues in archival science and recordkeeping. These disciplines include traditionally related areas –librarianship, information science, information studies, law, diplomatics, history…-, as well as more sophisticated approaches –sociology, anthropology, philosophy, informatics, arts, mathematics… A creative use of theory, practice, concepts, uses, paradigms, models, etc., drawn from archival science and recordkeeping, in order to solve issues in related disciplines, and/or to show how this use contributes to a successful management of data, information, documents, records, and related entities, in different environments. |
